Experience kayaking on the Nam Ha River in Luang Namtha, Northern Laos. This adventure includes navigating rapids and whitewater, enjoying stunning river scenery, and exploring the Nam Ha National Protected Area (NPA). You’ll have a picnic lunch by the riverbank, savor local food, and visit villages of minority groups.

Itinerary:

  • Approx. 4-5 hours (20-25 Km)

    9:00 AM: Meet at the office and travel to Ban Tasae. Kayaking Instruction: Receive basic kayaking techniques and safety instructions. Kayak: Paddle through Khmu agricultural lands, lush tropical forests, and rapids. Village Visits: Stop at Khmu village Ban Nalan and Lantan village Ban Namkoy to meet locals and learn about their lifestyle. Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch by the river. Continue Kayaking: Navigate more rapids and calm waters, potentially spotting wildlife. 4:00 PM: End the trip at Houaylued village and return to the office by Tuk-Tuk.
